D'Angeloディアンジェロ's Voodoo (2000). They met by chance at Electric Lady Studios during a B.B. King session. Palladino then joined Erykah Badu's band and became part of the Soulquarians collective. The same bassist who would later join The Who was deeply embedded in neo-soul's most celebrated album.

Welsh-Italian bassist from Cardiff. Met D'Angelo at Electric Lady Studios and anchored the landmark neo-soul album Voodoo (2000). Became The Who's bassist after John Entwistle's death and joined the John Mayer Trio. One of the most prolific session bassists alive, with over 600 recordings.
