Detroit-born keyboardist who joined Stevie Wonder's Wonderlove at 19 and became a core member of Michael Jackson's studio and touring bands. Played keyboards on Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad, and served as music director for the Bad and Dangerous world tours. MJ gifted him a 1973 Fender Rhodes with a typewritten note after the Destiny sessions. Also performed with Herbie Hancock's Imagine Project.
