His albums feature Will Lee (bass), Jim Keltner (drums — known for John Lennon, Bob Dylan), Larry Goldings (keys), David Hood (bass, Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section), and Greg Leisz (pedal steel). In 2019 he performed at Will Lee's "East Meets West" event alongside Randy Brecker

Has also performed with Blood, Sweat & Tears, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, and Charles Mingus. Participated in the New York sessions for SMAP's SMAP 007 ~Gold Singer~ and the Smappies project.
