Joel Ross (b. 1995) — Vibraphone. Led KingMaker, Who Are You?, The Parable of the Poet. Worked with Immanuel Wilkins, Makaya McCraven, Brandee Younger.

Ross is a young leader on vibraphone who debuted on Blue Note and collaborates with Ambrose Akinmusire and other forward voices. The contrast between the vibraphone's soft, shimmering timbre and his sharp rhythmic instincts is what makes his music so compelling.
