Jacky Terrasson (b. 1966) — Piano, Electric Piano. Led Jacky Terrasson, Reach, What It Is. Worked with Ugonna Okegwo, Leon Parker, Michael Brecker.

Born in Paris, Terrasson plays with a light, airy touch, and gives every standard an interpretation no one else would imagine. Dazzling but never saccharine. He won the Thelonious Monk Competition and crossed to America, and his live improvisations always look like he is genuinely having fun.

After winning the 1993 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition, Jacky TerrassonJacky Terrassonジャッキー・テラソン signed to Blue Note. The French-American pianist grafted European lyricism onto American swing.
